We are pleased to inform ECSPM members about the establishment of an International Research Network (IRN) on “Literacy in Multilingual Contexts” following the kick-off meeting in late September. The meeting brought together colleagues from across continents and time zones, who discussed a range of potential themes that could form the basis of collaborative work. These include:
  • Multilingual Literacy & CLIL
  • Multilingual Literacy & English Language Education
  • Indigenous Literacies
  • Multilingual Writing and AI
  • Multilingual Literacy & Policy
  • Training the Next Generation of Researchers
  • Multilingual Literacy in Early Childhood and Primary Education
  • Multilingual Literacy in Higher Education
Those interested are invited to indicate which theme(s) they would be interested in contributing to. Responses will help the core team identify and form focused working groups, which are to be sent to irina[dot]usanova[at]uni-hamburg[dot]de.
